This depends on the severity and whether or not scarring is present. Because of the complexity of this treatment, the number of sessions would be different depending on the presentation. That being said, normally anywhere from 1-4 sessions, and each session is about 7 days apart. That is what it usually takes to clear the acne.

Yes, our laser is the most recent version. All our competitors in the York region have the second or third generation laser; we have the forth.
For the most part, yes. This is because the laser shrinks the sebaceous glands which hold the oil responsible for acne formation. It also kills the bacteria that also contribute to acne formation
Many of our patients have had such great success, they were able to toss their acne meds away!
This video demonstrates the different protocols. The first protocol addressed the Acne Scarring and involved several steps. The second protocol addressed the Acne with less steps. With this patient, it is her third session with significant improvement in her Acne and Acne Scarring. She was very happy with the results.
